Shirovasti

Indications:

Psychiatric diseases,Migraine,Hair fall,Headache,Sinusitis,Vata disorders like paralysis,cervical disorders ,Parkinsonism,insomnia,Increasing memory,Stress reliever,Epilepsy,reducing hypertension ,ENT Disorders,Opthalmic disorders etc.

Time:
Total 60 minutes

Treatment Procedure:

  • While the guest being seated on the Arm Chair and be comfortable, apply hair oil on the head and give a gentle massage on the head, neck, and shoulder for10 mins. 
  • Fix the shirovasti cap on the guest head and seal the cap with urad dal dough around the head circumference externally and internally from the cap. Heat the oil till luke warm and pour into the shirovasti cap.  
  • Check and Maintain the heat (temperature) of the oil by constantly replacing the old oil by the newly heated oil. Repeat this procedure for 4-5 times for the whole procedure.  
  • The whole procedure may last until secretions from nostrils,excessbsalivation or watering of eyes starts; would last for approx ,
    45 mins.   
  • Remove the cap and wipe the excess oil from scalp.
