Ayurveda uses the principles of Doshas (primary functional energies) to explain the working of diseases. If any of the three Doshas - Vata, Pitta, or Kapha is imbalanced, it may cause diseases. Vata vitiation affects movement. This leads to the accumulation of toxins in the body. Kapha can get mixed with Vata in the joints causing all the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Ayurvedic treatment of Arthritis can help in providing a solution for chronic cases.
